FiXT is proud to announce the signing of Alternative, Metalcore, Metal, Rock trio Coping Method and debuting their first original single with FiXT “Hypomania.”
Brutal from the start “Hypomania” wastes no time setting the stage. Hard core industrial guitar riffs clash with turbulent rhythms for a fierce onslaught that doesn’t stop. Add in distorted synthesizers and a brutal vocal performance and Coping Method sets their foundation with an epic firestorm. Strap in, the ride starts now. “I want it. I need it.”
Also re-releasing with the debut single are two previous singles from the band, “Trauma” and “Vice Grip” each following the idea of bringing awareness for mental health issues, social issues, and other causes they band believes in.
“I’m super excited to be working with Coping Method on their upcoming album. They have an extremely unique sound that I feel is really pushing the boundaries of modern metal/electronic music. This is what FiXT is all about! They aren’t just a metal band with a few synths laid subtly under their guitars. These guys are really infusing electronics into their songs in a way that not many bands are doing. Couple that with extremely aggressive vocals, and catchy melodies like they have – and you’ve got something insanely special. I also genuinely appreciate their passion and storytelling in regards to mental health!” – Dave Hansen, FiXT A&R
FiXT previously re-released SURVIVE: Unit 01 EP, the groups’ four track EP originally released in 2022 and featuring four Rock singles, each a piece of their self described Unit 01.
Amidst the distorted undertones of low-tuned guitars, mangled synths, bludgeoning percussion, and ambient soundscapes, Lead Instructors Tyler Simpson (vocals) communicates each exercise to our trainees with both sonorous and restrained timbres. Fellow instructors Jed Stark (Guitar) and Chad Wunderle (Drums) help provide the sonic foundation for each trainee to integrate themselves into.
MISSION: Being a responsible citizen in our community is paramount to us as an organization. Future campaigns include raising money for mental health awareness, social issues and other causes we believe in.
Starting with heavy and thrashing “The Creed” declaring ‘death is not the creed that will define you,’ and continuing through the equally aggressive “Goner,” taking a moment to breathe in the ethereal “Ghosts,” and finally culminating in the combative “Like A Slave,” Coping Method explores the human experience through a heavy metal lens. Each single goes on the offensive and the EP as a whole is a defiant push against the status quo, a refusal to accept that this is where it ends, that this is where you stop and give up. Even the softer “Ghosts” pushes listeners to ‘relinquish the fear inside.’ The SURVIVE: Unit 01 EP is only a taste of things to come and already shows off the trio’s tremendous scope and talent. Strap in, the ride starts now.
What is Coping Method?
Coping Method is an organization that communicates through the audio and visual medium to spread Mental Health awareness. Each Trainee that enrolls will complete numerous exercises that tackle various issues in life. Whether a trainee is dealing with unresolved grief or a harrowing depressive episode, our exercises are designed for both comfort and release.
Each Exercise is compiled into Units, which are then compiled into its respective Curriculum as a whole. Those wishing to enroll and become certified must complete each exercise. We have designated three instructors to visually and audibly present them
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS:

Daedric has announced their upcoming Alternative Industrial Metal album Mortal is now available for pre-order from FiXT.
The Texas-based metal venture Daedric’s debut album Mortal is a feral offering to the altar of Electronic Metal. From the triumphant entry of “Wretched” the band burst onto the scene with a stunning vocal performance from Hope in their alluring music video for the debut single. “Wretched” set the stage for their next singles, the alluring yet brutal “Sepulchre” and the heavy industrial “Dawnbreaker” each with their own accompanying music video setting the tone and quality the band wanted to share. The album was produced by Geoff Rockwell (Memphis May Fire, Crown the Empire) and Clay Schroeder, with all but “Wretched” being mixed by renowned mixer Joey Sturgis, also known for his work with Of Mice & Men, Asking Alexandria, and We Came As Romans.
Whether you’re an Elder Scrolls fan or just a music lover, Daedric leads you on a quest of apparent destiny with music that ranges from unrelenting breakdowns, incorporating hypnotic beats and cinematic transitions, coupled with vocals that range from ethereal to brutal, savage to soulful. The album performs a delicate dance between ethereal and ominous, delicate and harsh building up to new heights with each new single Mortal encapsulates the human condition in its entirety. We are flawed, we are brief, but we are vital.
Singles from the album have already gained traction across multiple platforms including Spotify features on multiple official playlists, such as: All New Metal, New Blood, Heavy Queens, Epic & Melodic, Industrial Metal, The Core, Alternative Metal, Kickass Metal, Rock Hard, All New Rock, Progressive Metal, misfits 2.0 and more. Other notable editorial support has been seen from VEVO across Rock and Metal music video playlists on VEVO’s YouTube & App playlists as well as VEVO’s linear TV programming channels. The project has also quickly resonated with an international audience with strong support from the Eastern Europe platforms VK and Yandex supporting multiple tracks across the platform’s respective Rock and Metal playlists.
Daedric has collaborated with labelmates Celldweller, Fight The Fade, Andromida, Void Chapter, and Kaixo for a gamut of well-received singles that have also pulled in more fans across the world. After dropping a variety of well-received singles, music videos, and collaborations Daedric has amassed over 300K followers across all platforms, and scored mentions on Louder Sound, Punk Rocker, Metal Hammer, and Metal Injection. They’ve also gained notoriety on the Daedric Official Tik Tok Account covering the hit single “This Is Halloween.”
Upon Daedric‘s inception in Late 2020, they had a goal to create a dark Synthwave project that established a modern fantasy element that was lacking across the dystopian-filled genre. With Geoff’s captivating production, Clay’s syncopated riffs, and Kristyn’s hypnotic vocal delivery, “Wretched” was forged and set forth an inevitable sound. More importantly, it opened the doors for true exploration. Over the next year, Daedric would expand their writing across multiple genres, blending metal drums and industrial grooves with an amalgamation of synth, guitar, and orchestration, all leading to a diverse soundscape to showcase Kristyn’s immense vocal range.
Daedric explains, “Our goal was to create something unique and captivating, yet grounded in raw human emotion and I truly believe we accomplished that.” Mortal is not a predictable journey, much like the quests of Skyrim and Oblivion, it is bound by a fatal pulse. We are truly alive. We are ‘Mortal.'”
Daedric is an audacious creative venture from Dallas/Fort Worth-based vocalist and artist, Kristyn Hope. Daedric draws inspiration from an eclectic array of sources including David Bowie, Anthony Green of Circa Survive, Sia, and the popular open-world role-playing game series Elder Scrolls, from which the Daedric name is derived. As Daedric, Kristyn works closely with producers Geoff Rockwell and Clay Schroeder to develop a mix of throwback synths blended with contemporary rock and metal, forging a powerful sound that is uniquely her own.
“Titan”is out now on all platforms from FiXT.

Names: Kevin & Len
• Joined FiXT: 2021
Where did you Grow Up?
Len: Alaska.
Kevin: I was born in upstate NY, and I’ve lived in AZ and OR, but I’d say I grew up in Olympia, WA, sixty-ish miles from downtown Seattle. I spent many moments enjoying the record stores, hanging with friends, and being home on 15 acres of land. Loved catching as many shows as I could—lots of good memories there. So even though I’ve started new chapters in my life, it’ll always be home in my heart.
Current Location:
Len: WA State
Kevin: Seattle, WA
DAW:
Len: Logic Pro X
Kev: Logic Pro X for recording, and MainStage 3 for live
Hardware or Software?
Len: I use mostly software because the workflow allows me to get my ideas off the table and work faster.
Kev: I love to use hardware for official recordings because there are so many unique characteristics and imperfections that sound great to me. Unfortunately, all the hardware synths I tend to gravitate to are vintage and crazy expensive. I’ve never really been financially secure enough to own an arsenal of hardware synths, so instead, I use a lot of emulation software synths from Arturia. The software works out well for replicating synth patches live without having to bring 20 different synths on stage with me. I have a few friends who have unique hardware synths, and we’ve talked about me sending some reference midi/audio tracks for them to re-track with their different synths for future songs.
Day Job:
Len: Business owner
Kevin: Healthcare worker/work with kids with disabilities
Interesting Fact About Something You Do or Have Done that is non-music related:
Len: I live on a farm with horses and chickens, and I like to do carvings with my chainsaw.
Kevin:
Dream Collab:
Len: Bjork is my fav artist. She’s so unique and creative that working with her would probably challenge me to be a better artist on multiple levels.
Kevin: Martin Gore/Depeche Mode, TR/Nine Inch Nails, or Robert Smith/The Cure
Favorite Thing To Collect:
Len: Memories
Kevin: The only items i collect are memorabilia like CDs, Vinyl, and autographs from artists/musicians that have impacted my life.
Favorite Sport or Sports Team:
Len: MMA/UFC
Kevin: Football (Seahawks & Bills) & Basketball (Bring the Sonics back!)
Favorite Video Game:
Len: It’s a tie between Skyrim and Fallout
Kevin: Mario Bros. 3, TMNT: Turtles in Time, Batman Arkham series
A Non-Music related Hobby:
Len: Downhill mountain biking, Snowboarding, & kayaking
Kevin: Totally related to music, but I spend a lot of time directing/editing Music Videos
What have you enjoyed most about working with FiXT?
Len: Kevin and I have been thrilled with our experience working with FiXT. But, it’s not just about us. There’s an entire family/community of great people and talented artists here. We feel that the entire team at FiXT has this same feeling, and we all want to rise together and achieve the same success. In addition, there’s a style of music on this label that’s worth grabbing onto. We feel as if we are not judged for our creativity. We know that we’re pushing multi-genre boundaries, and they are accepting as we’re trying to express ourselves. We are emotionally immersive when we approach music, and as an artist, this is very exciting because it allows us to express whatever were feeling.
Kevin: It’s been great to connect with other like-minded people with similar passions for art. We’ve already collaborated with artists: Fury Weekend, Signal Void, Cassetter, The Anix, Void Chapter, + others. The great thing about being a part of FiXT is that staff genuinely care and make a solid effort to help us whenever we need assistance. They also encourage us to be self-efficient and provide us with tools to learn about many aspects of the music industry. Having a great network of information and people who believe in you helps us continue to create art. This is a really good home for us.

FiXT is proud to announce the exclusive signing of CANTERVICE, an American concept-based electronic rock project, its core concepts being centered around a future dystopian world, plagued by a government that has assumed control over all technology and information. The signing kicks off with a re-release of two of CANTERVICE’s earlier singles “Void” and “The Machine” ahead of new original material and a multi-album deal.
“Initially we were intent on never signing with a record label,” states CANTERVICE. “With our experience and the experiences of our peers, we’ve developed a bit of a bad taste with them and wished to keep CANTERVICE independent indefinitely. FiXT offered us more than a simple record deal, but a partnership. This partnership would allow us to accelerate our output and help us spread our message further and faster than before, and without sacrificing our authenticity. This is only the beginning, and we are truly eager to find what the future holds for us and FiXT.”
“Void” and “The Machine” are out now from independent multi-genre label FiXT.
“FiXT is proud to add CANTERVICE to our roster of genre-pioneering future-rock artists. Our reputation as an artist-friendly home with industry recognized artists like Celldweller and The Anix, opened the door to working with CANTERVICE as they were already fans of the label and some of our roster. That led to a very synergistic convergence and we can’t wait to see where CANTERVICE will go in the next several years!” – James Rhodes (FiXT VP & Co-Founder)

Current Location: Hinkley, UK
DAW: Ableton Live 9 (Still haven’t upgraded to 11 yet)
Hardware or Software: Everything I do is in the box, but the guitars are me and I’m slowly starting to build up a small collection of them as well as pedals
Day Job: Secondary School Teacher
Favorite Video Game:
I’ve not really been into video games all too much since I was a teenager, as I don’t have the attention span, but still to this day I could sit all day just playing Star Wars Battlefront (2004) on the original Xbox, of which I still have! 1v1 me on Bespin Platforms, I dare ya.
A Non-Music Related Hobby:
I’m a big fan of miniature games such as Warhammer and have always been at it ever since I was a teenager. I’ve not done much of the hobby this year due to how busy everything has been on the music front, but I’d consider myself more of a collector and painter than gamer with the hobby. I have a side-Instagram for all of this if you’re interested.
What have you enjoyed most about working with FiXT?
I’ve only been with FiXT for a short time ever since March, but it’s been so amazing to work with their awesome team! There’s so many great plans which have sprung up and so many great resources at my disposal thanks to FiXT. They’re definitely the best label I have worked with so far, and their support for my ideas are second to none. Very excited to be working with them for TIB album #4 and really push the metal aspect of my crossover sound as far as it can go!
