Fury Weekend approaches synthwave head-on with a dark and heavy new track, “Towards the Wind.” As one of the artist’s most instantly impressive efforts to date, “Towards the Wind” wastes no time diving into a thunderous, guitar-driven section in Fury Weekend’s unmistakable style before pulling back and delivering a series of soaring guitar solos. By alternating between hard-hitting beats and soulful guitar work, Fury Weekend displays an ability to create surprising and versatile arrangements that remain exciting until the end.

“Towards the Wind” is the latest single released in anticipation of Fury Weekend’s second full-length album, Escape from Neon City. Following hit vocal tracks like “Thousand Lights” featuring Megan McDuffee and the collaboration with Scandroid on “Euphoria,” “Towards the Wind” adds another dimension to the final tracklist with an aggressive instrumental entry. Escape from Neon City will be available this fall through FiXT Neon.
