Glitchy trap beats and an aggressive rap style collide with clean chorus melodies and rock rhythms on Becko’s latest genre-fusing creation, “Unbreakable.” The track’s intensely personal lyrics speak to self-reliance and triumph in the face of difficult times, a concept represented by the song’s vibrantly split musical personality.
“Unbreakable” is the latest single from Becko and is out now on all major platforms from independent electronic rock label FiXT.

Electronic rock and anime soundtracks collide in a blend of gritty guitar riffs, glitchy electronics, and impassioned vocals in Becko’s unique brand of trap-metal. Delivered with the artist’s bleeding-edge songwriting style, “Cyberfriend” offers a cynical take on social media and the difficulty of finding authenticity in an online world.
“Cyberfriend” is a manifesto of this new world generation of kids that are adoring useless internet fake idols that do nothing and become famous.
Bored is what they are everyday and creativity is the last thing in their mind.
– Becko
“Cyberfriend” is the first new single from Becko following the release of the artist’s Genesis EP. The song is available now on all major platforms from independent future rock label FiXT.

FiXT is proud to announce the signing of Italian trap-metal artist Becko.
Rising from the ashes of post-hardcore band Hopes Die Last, Italian multi-genre producer, musician, and vocalist Marco Calanca created Becko as a solo project, uniting influences of EDM, Hip-Hop, Industrial and Emo-Rock. With previous releases under his belt with labels ranging from Warner Italy and Universal Italy, to Monstercat, Lowly Palace, and Smash the House since 2014, Becko found a new home in early 2020, signing a multi-album deal with the independent, artist-owned/operated USA-based electronic-rock label FiXT, founded by genre-pioneering artist & producer Klayton (Celldweller, Circle of Dust). The Rome based Becko is now preparing to release a steady stream of singles throughout 2020 leading up to a full-length album later in the year.
Kicking off the signing, Becko enters the world of trap-metal with his 5-song EP, Genesis, blending elements of hip-hop, metal, EDM, and alternative rock. Building a violent momentum of melodic screaming and rap vocals, dark gritty guitars, and heavy trap beats, Becko sweeps the listener skillfully through a dark crucible in “Genesis” and “1YearSunFree” before a convincing conclusion with the unforgettably catchy track “Dead End. The EP is rounded out by 2 cover songs as Becko delivers an EDM-Rock hybrid version of Bring Me The Horizon’s “Mantra” and a bass-heavy Alt-Rock inspired cover of Linkin Park’s “Crawling”.

Discussing the signing, label-owner Klayton had this to say:
“I’ve been excited by the surge of interest in trap-metal but to me the greatest missing element was ‘metal’. I was in the process of assembling a project combining blown-out trap beats, heavy guitar riffs, screaming, melody and cool electronics, because I fully believe this is the sound of the future. Then from out of the blue (Italy, actually) comes an email from Becko submitting his music to the FiXT label. I quickly sidelined the project I was assembling, because what he was already doing on his own, was exactly what I was hearing in my head. I couldn’t be more excited to have him as part of the FiXT family, and we’re primed and ready to get his music into ears around the world.”
– Klayton
“I have been in love with FiXT for a long time, but was not ready to approach them as I didn’t have tracks that fit their multi-genre electronic-rock sound. After creating Genesis, the first thing I did was message Klayton (Celldweller) for his feedback, and just a couple months later I’m signed to FiXT. So amazed to share my path with them and the super cool and talented artists they have in their roster!” – Becko
To support the signing of Becko, FiXT has also re-released 30 of Becko’s previously independent back catalog tracks. Updated with fresh artwork, the re-releases include his 2017 cover-song album CVRS, along with combining and remastering the audio to his previous EPs Reborn (2017) and Digital Heaven (2018) and the single “Void” (2018) into a new album titled A.T. Field.
CVRS is a tour-de-force, eclectic compilation of cover songs from genre-defying artist Becko. When he’s not challenging genre rules with his original music, Becko showcases his wide range of talents with other people’s songs.

Becko’s A.T. Field is a dynamic powerhouse of songs he originally released from 2017 and 2018, showcasing his range of alternative electronic pop, with early signs of his harder trap-metal edge that he would later form on Genesis.

Building upon Celldweller’s signature aggressive, electronic-rock original, Italy based artist/producer Becko offers a genre-defying trap-metal remix of “My Disintegration”. Becko skillfully weaves in his own vocals into a cataclysmic hybrid duet showcasing both artist’s abilities to fuse differing styles into one searing track. The remix delivers a torrent of hypnotic beats and abrasive guitars, steadily building up to a climactic finish, before fading away with a final synthetic disintegration leaving you yearning for more.
“It was an honor for me to remix ‘My Disintegration’ as I’m a huge fan of Klayton’s Celldweller project! His super guitar riffs and nu-metal touch remind me why I started to make and play music. So it’s amazing to find something so similar to my taste to remix! My aim was to mix 50% his style and 50% my style to prove our sounds could work together!”
– Becko
Along with the release of the remix, FiXT has revealed Becko as the latest artist signing to FiXT’s expanding multi-genre, electronic-rock roster. With previous releases under his belt with labels ranging from Warner Italy and Universal Italy, to Monstercat, Lowly Palace, and Smash the House since 2014, Becko will be re-releasing over 30 tracks from his back-catalog with FiXT in the coming weeks, with an emphasis on new material and regular singles throughout the rest of the year.
